Atlanta’s natural place to play
Protecting and Celebrating Candler Park
Candler Park is one of Atlanta's largest, oldest, and most beloved city parks. Its 55 acres of scenic green space support a range of important uses.
The Park features a number of ecosystems and serves as an in-town habitat for native flora and fauna from specimen southern red oaks to red tail hawks. In recent years, the Park's re-naturalized wetlands area has even come to host keystone species such as beavers.
As the Conservancy, we work to protect and promote Candler Park. We hold regular recreational events and workshops free to all comers, and we've developed a long-term Vision Plan consisting of more than a dozen ambitious projects.
Your support is essential to our success. Please consider joining our growing community of members, donors and volunteers to sustain the Conservancy and to help us advance a shared vision for the park.
